I cherish days and covet nights
Of fondness shared in paradise.
Chaperoned evening, starlit pier:
Moonlit madness I revere.
Your chilly park, well-cheered with wine,
Has made my winter months divine.
Summer’s waves and warming winds
Play harmony when love transcends.
Some days I spent in lone repose
But dreams of you, unbade, arose.
Some nights I spent in sleeplessness,
My mind cradled in your caress.
Some memories are dreams, some true:
I cannot separate the two.
The real and fantasized are you.
